An Introduction
The Grey School of Wizardry is thrilled to unveil our Highspire Campus, slated to open in 2026. This initiative marks a transformative leap, transitioning from the virtual to the tangible, and invites learners to immerse themselves in a richly interactive educational environment. Set against the backdrop of our enchanting campus in Whitehall, New York, GSW pupils will be given the opportunity to learn and live at Highspire manor, taking their studies in modern Wizardry to a new level. This shift to offering lodging on our Physical Campus brings a new depth to our School, blending academic study with the engagement of practice.
The cost per-term, $5000, is an all-encompassing fee that includes tuition, lodging in the historic Highspire Manor building, and nourishing meals designed to sustain the body and mind. At Highspire Manor, our rooms are vibrant hubs where wizardry can be explored. Here Apprentices can take their online courses, surrounded by books and tools of the trade, engaging directly with fellows in a dynamic and tangible environment.

With a Physical Campus come many perks, one of which being there is a place to have guest lecturers! As a part of staying at Highspire Our pupils will have the privilege of attending talks by eminent personalities, including the renowned wizards of the modern day. Their insights will offer a profound perspective on the trade of Wizardry and its contemporary relevance. These sessions not only enrich our students' understanding but also allow them to interact directly with masters of the craft, fostering a deeper connection with their studies. Moreover, the campus environment facilitates a learning community where ideas can flourish and students are inspired by each other and their illustrious visitors.
Further broadening the spectrum, local dignitaries such as the Village Officials, Esteemed Local Teachers, and other talented wise community members will share their expertise. Facilities & Resources
Highspire Manor, the heart of our physical campus, offers a myriad of resources and facilities designed to enrich the learning experience of our Apprentices. The Highspire Library stands as a bastion of knowledge, hosting a diverse collection that spans across all departments of the Grey School, continuously growing to encompass the ever-evolving realm of wizardry.
The Highspire Workshop, equipped with an array of tools including drills, dremels, a forge, and a lathe, is a haven for creative exploration and hands-on projects. This space encourages apprentices to go beyond theoretical learning, allowing them to bring their concepts to tangible fruition.
The sprawling Nine Acre Woods provide a natural setting for connecting with the environment, complete with paths for exploration, spaces for outdoor campouts, and a dedicated ritual area. This natural haven serves as a living classroom, offering unique opportunities for practical learning in herbalism, nature observation, and the odd introspective walk among the trees.
Future plans include the addition of a Greenhouse, further enhancing opportunities for Apprentices to engage in wortcunning and horticulture, as well as to participate in community initiatives like local farmers' markets. Within the Manor itself, communal spaces like the Parlor and the Great Hall foster a sense of community and belonging, serving as venues for relaxation, assemblies, and various events.
The Village of Whitehall
Community engagement is a pivotal aspect of the Grey School's Physical Grounds. The Campus environment fosters deep connections among Apprentices, creating a dynamic learning community where ideas and experiences are shared and friendships are formed.

The Village of Whitehall has a world of wonders to offer Our apprentices. Residents of the Campus are encouraged to immerse themselves in diverse activities available here in Whitehall, ranging from working at the local farmers' market and volunteering at Skene Manor and the recreation center, to contributing to the Historical Society’s efforts or perhaps even setting up a shop of their own. Participation in these initiatives, along with helping in the organization of annual village festivals and community clean-up projects, not only deepens a learner's connection to the local community but also grounds their understanding of our Trade in practice and practical everyday scenarios, fostering a well-rounded understanding of the Modern Wizard.
