This year, the Grey School of Wizardry proudly introduces our inaugural Highspire Halloween, a celebration of the mystical, the fantastical, and the downright spooktacular. From the first flicker of twilight to the final toll of the bell at 10 PM, our hallowed Highspire campus transforms into a realm of enchantment and excitement that extends well beyond the mundane. Whats more, this event is free to attend for those enrolled at GSW!

As the gates of our venerable institution swing open at 5:00 PM, attendees are immediately immersed in a world of whimsy and wizardry. A series of spellbinding activities await, each meticulously crafted to mesmerize and engage, turning this well-known holiday into an extraordinary escapade of magical learning and laughter.

The celebration begins in earnest with our Wizarding Banquet, where tantalizing fare meets mystical mirth. Each dish served is a masterstroke of culinary magic, enchanting the senses and casting a spell of satisfaction that lingers long after the last bite. This feast not only promises gastronomical delight but also serves as an incredible opportunity for our guests to converse, connect, and imbibe the spirit of community that forms the core of our magical institution.

The enchantment doesn't pause there, however.

As the echoes of laughter and chatter from dinner fade from the Great hall, the GSW Cottage readies itself for a grand presentation of the beloved cult classic 'Hocus Pocus.' Prepare to be captivated by the Sanderson sisters' antics and adventures, their tale unfolding within our own hallowed grounds, enhancing the charm of this witchy romp with our unique wizardly flair.

The grand finale of the evening is none other than our highly anticipated costume contest. Here's your chance to transfigure yourself into the most mesmerizing character, to stun and amaze with your creativity, your wit, and your costuming prowess. Will you don the guise of a historical sorcerer, a mythical creature, or an otherworldly entity? The choice is yours, and the prize? A generous $300 for the grandest costume of them all.

As we partake in the spirit of Halloween, we seek to create an atmosphere that celebrates not only the fantastical but also the magical camaraderie that underpins our school's ethos. Halloween at Highspire is not simply a spectacle—it's a testament to the power of community, creativity, and the joy of magic.

This All Hallows' Eve, leave behind the mundane, and step into a world where the magickal is the norm, and every moment is a memory in the making.

Here's a peek of what we have planned:

• 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Welcoming Reception: Begin the evening by mingling with fellow community members over themed welcome drinks.
• 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Enchanted Banquet: Dine amidst fellow wizards in the grandeur of the Great Hall, where a sumptuous feast awaits you.
• 7:00 PM - 7:30 PM: Relaxation Time: A pause to Prepare for the evening's entertainment.
• 7:30 PM - 9:06 PM: 'Hocus Pocus' Screening: Join us in the Cottage on the Environs for a nostalgic screening of the cult classic 'Hocus Pocus'.
• 9:06 PM - 9:30 PM: Intermission: Time to stretch your legs, have a quick refreshment, and prepare for the costume contest.
• 9:30 PM - 10:00 PM: Costume Contest: Show us your creativity in the Great Hall during our costume contest! The grand prize of $300 could be yours!
